Cannon Gate Park is a beautiful seasonal park for permanents located on Lake Sakatah. Cannon Gate Park has 800 feet of shoreline and 600 feet on the Cannon River, which passes through our park, linking Lake Tetonka to Lake Sakatah providing access to 2500 acres of fishing, boating and water sports. Fishing is good on both lakes. Large pontoons can navigate this stretch of the river.

How to find us:.

We are located within the city of Waterville, Minnesota – 16 miles west of Faribault on Highway 60 and 24 miles east of Mankato. There is a black top cycle trail linking these two cities which passes through Waterville, and a swimming beach is located 3 blocks from the park on Lake Tetonka.

The Mall of America is an hour’s drive away, as is the Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport. The world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester is about 70 miles east of Waterville. Within walking distance you have the choice of restaurants, bars, a grocery store, pharmacy, 2 hardware stores and a number of other retail stores. Five churches are located in the city as well as a Mayo satellite clinic. Within a 30 minute drive there are a number of restaurants catering for all tastes.

13 of our sites are on the river and 21 are lakeshore – in addition to these we have 26 sites off the water, most of which have lake or river view. Our private harbor in the center of the park provides sheltered fishing and boat docking. Available in the park is Free High Speed Wireless Internet, free cable TV (more than 45 channels) with the option to upgrade to the movie channels and telephone hookup. Boat docking and screened fish cleaning facility, two laundry facilities, city water, sewer and metered 30/50 amp electricity.

Wi-Fi in the comfort of your RV! Cannon Gate Park is now offering WiFi at its campground. Now you can enjoy High Speed Wireless Internet in the comfort of your RV throughout our RV park! All you need is a wireless ready computer...just turn it on, open your browser, and start surfing the net.

Park rules and rates:.

We do not have a written set of do’s and don’ts - we rely of our residents to exercise good judgment and respect for their neighbors. Cannon Gate Park is very pet friendly. There is no charge or registration needed for residents’ guests.

Lot rentals vary depending on location. An annual deposit is required. Our season is from May 1 through September 30 but most years we are open earlier in April and close later in October. Please contact us for more information.
